Nature Reserves is a group exhibition that examines the understandings of the natural environment. Of particular interest is the two-way relationship between knowledge storage (classification, organisation etc) and knowledge creation, and the tangled effect this has on our changing conceptions of the natural world. Focusing on systems of archiving, the exhibition features work across a rich range of media by twelve contemporary artists, as well as archival materials from South London Botanical Institute and University College London.
